The project's objective to renovate Jro Mangkus's workshop in Budaga village is rooted in a vision of growth and development. By enhancing the infrastructure and facilities, the workshop transformation will provide Jro Mangku with the opportunity to expand his operations, allowing him to meet the rising demand for his revered craftsmanship. Beyond increasing the production of handmade ceremonial bells, the revitalized workspace will become a hub for learning, fostering an environment conducive to apprenticeship. This initiative not only ensures the transfer of invaluable knowledge from one generation to the next but also nurtures a new cadre of artisans, safeguarding the future of this traditional art.
The project's influence extends even further; by stimulating local employment and increasing Budaga’s economic stability, it contributes to the economic resilience of the entire community. Thus, through the revitalization of workspaces, we empower and fortify the cultural and economic fabric of Budaga Klungkung.
